We are seeking a qualified Resource Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Strongsville, OH. As a Resource Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Create a secure and healthy learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth in our students.
- Support Student Development: Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them to reach their full potential.
- Build Positive Relationships: Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and cooperation within our school.
- Work with the Faculty: Collaborate with our experienced faculty to develop and implement effective educational programs and strategies.
- Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrate a genuine understanding and empathy for young children, providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Dependability and Adaptability: Show a commitment to teamwork and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, ensuring the smooth operation of our educational programs.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
