Job Description:

CMA:

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing timely and accurate information to patients, medical personnel, and others who request information.
  • Adapting to a variety of responsibilities and tasks.
  • Performing office-based procedures, communicating with other healthcare team members, and maintaining accurate records using our Electronic Health Record system.
  • Processing patient specimens and providing direct patient care.
  • Assisting providers with procedures in the office and may assist physicians in the operating room.


LPN:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will assist our medical providers in the care and treatment of patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and interacting effectively with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members.
  • Assisting with the care and treatment of patients, including ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled persons in the clinic.
  • Working under the supervision of a registered nurse.


ATC:

As an Athletic Trainer, you will evaluate, advise, and treat athletes to assist recovery from injury, avoid injury, or maintain peak physical fitness. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing timely and accurate information to patients, medical personnel, and others who request information.
  • Adapting to a variety of responsibilities and tasks.
  • Performing office-based procedures, communicating with other healthcare team members, and maintaining accurate records using our Electronic Health Record system.
  • Processing patient specimens and providing direct patient care.
  • Assisting providers with procedures in the office and may assist physicians in the operating room.


Qualifications:

Required:

CMA:

A Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants), NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing), NHA (National Healthcareer Association), or AMT (American Medical Technologists). In lieu of certification, has completed the Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) through AAMA.

LPN:

A Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Iowa.

ATC:

A license from the State of Iowa to practice Athletic Training, license must be in good standing.
