Pharmacy Technician Inpatient Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician Inpatient to join our team in the Pharmacy Department. As a Pharmacy Technician Inpatient, you will provide daily pharmacy technical services to inpatients, outpatients, and other Health Center departments, working under strict time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to routine and emergency requests in a prompt and efficient manner, requiring a moderate amount of independent judgment, an advanced level of technical knowledge, and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Provide excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Perform IV compounding skills with a high degree of accuracy, as errors can result in serious patient injury.
  • Meet the minimum requirements of a high school diploma and a minimum of six months of hospital or retail pharmacy experience or completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program.
  • Hold licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan.
