Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate I is accountable for the systematic and physical management of incoming and outgoing inventory. This role involves heavy lifting, including repetitive tasks requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Candidates must be capable of standing for extended periods. Responsibilities include processing orders for shipment utilizing FedEx Ship Manager and/or UPS Worldship software, managing transfers, assisting with returns, conducting physical inventories, and supporting daily cycle counts. Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and security of the Distribution Center while adhering to safety protocols is essential. Additional duties may include sorting and disposing of packaging materials appropriately. Overtime may be necessary to accommodate month-end and quarter-end sales cycles.



Your Contributions

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving stock: unloading shipments, inspecting for damages, verifying items against packing slips, and entering data into the system using handheld scanners.
  • Releasing orders on a scheduled basis and collaborating with Operations Management.
  • Picking and processing items for unpacking, ensuring all serialized items and accessory quantities are verified.
  • Operating UPS Worldship: scanning labels, confirming accuracy, and processing orders according to special shipping instructions.
  • Managing inventory transfers and assisting with the returns process.
  • Conducting inventory counts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Less than one year of relevant experience; distribution center experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is advantageous.
  • The ability to learn new computer skills quickly.
  • Availability for overtime as needed.
  • Capability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to stand for long durations and operate a forklift.
  • Dependability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
