Compensation and Benefits.

The hourly wage for this position is $21.25. GXO believes this reflects the compensation for this role at the time of this posting. However, the final pay may vary, and this rate is applicable only for positions within New Jersey. Future modifications to this rate may occur. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of packaging, routing, and systems tasks.
  • Engage in and guide the team in Lean warehousing practices.
  • Complete assignments by adhering to established protocols.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Participate in collaborative activities with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

At a minimum, you will need:
  • A year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment and using handheld scanners.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including potential overtime.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
This role requires the ability to:
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift over 75 lbs.
  • Handle objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as necessary.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Operate tools or equipment effectively.
  • Demonstrate various vision capabilities, including close and distance vision.
  • Adapt to varying temperature conditions in the warehouse.
