In this role, you will work closely with a team of architects, engineers, planners, and construction specialists to assist in project management and client engagement.
Internship Objectives:
- Develop standard documentation to aid in future proposal creation and presentations.
- Revise Project Experience pages to align with the updated corporate standards.
- Engage in at least one proposal development process for a new project initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis: Evaluate Project Experience Pages against new corporate standards to identify necessary information.
- Research: Gather required data and narratives through project files, online resources, and interviews with team members to update Project Experience Pages.
- Content Development: Collaborate with project managers to transform quantitative and qualitative data into clear, concise content for one-page Project Experience Pages, including copy and graphics. Your supervisor will assist in creating a standard set of questions for interviewing Project Managers.
- Progress Reporting: Track and report on the status of Project Experience Pages weekly to your supervisor through virtual meetings and written updates.
- Additional Duties: Provide graphic support for other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or an Engineering discipline (e.g., Structural, Civil, Electrical, MEP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
- 0-4 years of experience in engineering or construction firms, or in a construction claims/dispute environment.
- Strong communication, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with marketing software and online applications (e.g., Adobe, InDesign, Word).
- Willingness to seek and comprehend data and narratives to create content for marketing materials.
- Ability to creatively convey project stories in a concise one-page format.
- A collaborative spirit and self-motivation are essential.
