Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Safety Intern to join our team in Nashville, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Indianapolis, IN; Jamaica, NY; or Chicago, IL. This internship is designed to provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field of construction safety. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, develop professional work knowledge and abilities, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Responsibilities
Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities
Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff
Meets required schedules while producing quality work
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
Requirements
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a similar discipline
Must have completed at least 1 year of study
Recent graduates with a bachelor's degree and planning to continue with a master's degree are eligible to apply
Preferred Qualifications
Part of an SH&E related program at school
Experience working for a large general contractor
Previous relevant internship experience
Microsoft Office proficiency, as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs
Additional Information
Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
Relocation assistance is available for this position
