Job Summary

The Dialysis Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse with Associate Degree.
