Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Pediatrics to join our team at University Hospitals. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of work experience in an Ophthalmic Practice and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist healthcare providers in the ambulatory setting, perform diagnostic testing, and provide age-specific care to patients from toddlers through elderly.

About the Role
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience. Key Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers in the ambulatory setting
Obtain patient past and present ocular and general medical history
Perform visual acuity and diagnostic testing under supervision
Provide age-specific care to patients from toddlers through elderly
Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment
Uses interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other customers

Requirements
High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
1+ years work experience in an Ophthalmic Practice (Required)
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) through CMEs (Required)
BASIC Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required)
