Job Overview

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, which includes maintaining high-quality standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively manage budgets and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide direction and guidance to a team of employees responsible for facility maintenance, setting clear expectations and goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the planning, prioritization, assignment, supervision, review, and work with staff responsible for facility maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in preparing and administering the facility maintenance budget, making informed decisions regarding resource allocation, budgetary control, and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Formal trade school or an associate's degree in a facility management or engineering program or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of building or facilities maintenance experience required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of facility and/or building maintenance methods and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans and specifications.

  • Salary Range: The estimated salary range is $65,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
