Job Description

As a key member of The Liberty Group team, you will have the opportunity to advance your career based on your hard work and dedication. We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our apartment communities.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Staff
  • Receive, organize, and prioritize maintenance work orders, performing services as requested by residents or preventative maintenance as required.
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and promptly, either by repairing or replacing equipment personally or by coordinating the efforts of the maintenance team.
  • Assist other maintenance staff with complex and/or labor-intensive work orders to ensure jobs are completed safely and timely.
  • Contact and oversee vendors for work not performed in-house, inspecting and approving contracted work completed.
  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule, assigning tasks for completion by maintenance staff.
  • Coordinate service staff to ensure market-ready turns of vacant apartment units to specifications as quickly as possible to meet leasing demand.
  • Monitor and regularly inspect the property, apartment units, landscape, and maintenance repairs for quality, readiness, and safety, identifying and addressing needs for improvement, repair, and/or replacement.
  • Operate a motor vehicle and maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped maintenance shop.
  • Ensure the resolution of resident issues and complaints in cooperation with the staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED and three to five years of experience in facility maintenance and/or mechanical repair required, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A/C repair experience required.
  • EPA Type II or III or Universal license is required, CAMT is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
