PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee accounting functions, payroll management, and guide various accounting operations including invoice processing, billing, cash management, and month-end closing activities.
  • Implement and manage financial control processes across all operational units to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Guarantee timely completion of all internal and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and review financial statements to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Provide analytical insights to support pricing strategies and profitability assessments for various projects.
  • Deliver financial analytics to assist leadership in making informed business decisions.
  • Offer accounting guidance and analytical support to different departments as necessary.
  • Manage credit and collection processes to optimize cash flow.
  • Supervise the accounting aspects of capital expenditures and asset management transactions.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring thorough analysis and timely reviews.
  • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Respond to information requests from corporate and field management as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial filings and returns mandated by contracts and regulatory bodies.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with leadership, staff, and clients.

  • Ability to mentor and develop team members to meet performance standards.
  • Skilled in establishing effective workflows and processes.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and possess strong analytical capabilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or financial experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include an MBA or CPA certification.
