We are looking for a Clinical Assessment Specialist to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Assessment Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough patient evaluations to determine eligibility for admission into Vibra Healthcare facilities. This role is essential in maintaining strong relationships with referral sources and ensuring the seamless transfer of clinical and benefits information to the admissions team, administration, and third-party payers.

Core duties include:

  • Performing comprehensive clinical assessments.
  • Expanding the network of referral sources.
  • Enhancing customer and community relationships.

The Clinical Assessment Specialist achieves these goals by delivering exceptional customer service, conducting precise and timely clinical evaluations, and actively promoting educational initiatives to our referral partners.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid and active license as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Current and valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in an acute care environment.
  • Prior experience in clinical screening is advantageous.
  • Recent experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the local medical community is a plus.
  • Ability to gather, organize, assess, and communicate clinical information effectively with medical and administrative teams, patients, and families.
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Professional demeanor and image.
  • Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
  • Capability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
