We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Vivalon. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance operations on our expanding fleet of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, hybrids, and buses.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including brake systems, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair complex problems with vehicle systems, including engine performance, transmission, and drivetrain.
- Conduct safety inspections and perform necessary repairs to ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance and repair operations.
- 1+ year of experience working as a mechanic in an automotive shop.
- Strong understanding of vehicle operating systems and repair procedures.
- Valid California driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- $30-$37/hour depending on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.
