Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Zobility. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing build activities, including engineering tasks and build configuration for Electric Power Electronics Conversion products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage build huddle and provide daily build status updates to stakeholders.
  • Advise management on work progress, material availability, and production problems.
  • Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage revisions throughout the product life cycle.
  • Evaluate custom build configurations to meet operational system performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Design Release Engineers to create prototype assembly instructions and build requirements.
  • Train technicians on assembly instructions and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Capture builds-related issues in JIRA and resolve them with DREs and the prototype team.
  • Design assembly aid fixtures using CATIA and create drawings.
  • Perform torque-to-fail studies to define required torque values.
  • Track PCBA inventory pedigree through build and release.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of recent relevant hands-on experience.
  • Basic knowledge of low and high voltage safety.
  • Basic understanding of ESD and clean room requirements per ISO standards.
  • Familiarity with basic shop fabrication and assembly tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Proficient with CATIA V6 software.
  • Troubleshooting and fabrication of PCBA.
