This exciting opportunity awaits you as a Sr. IT Release Process Manager at Charter Communications

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire release process, ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and execution of deploying CPE releases into production. This role requires close collaboration with engineering and other stakeholders to guarantee that all release activities are executed efficiently and with a focus on quality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of adherence to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness of the Release Management processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain highly accurate tracking of code releases and system maintenance for all environments, as applicable to each Program/Application Stack, to ensure environments are kept in alignment and provide accurate Release Management (RM) metrics.
  • Provide operational level oversight and control through the use of Release and Communications Plans, System Organization and Dependency Charts established for each Program/Application Stack.
  • Ensure adequate planning is conducted based on method and complexity of the release to minimize risks and clearly articulate impact to stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional meetings with clear, authoritative, and professional interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible for resolving conflicts and negotiating effectively and tactfully as a partner to a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project leadership experience handling multiple projects simultaneously in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic setting.
  • Experience facilitating and enforcing procedures and metrics-based process improvement across multiple teams and diverse geographic locations.
  • Skilled at presenting to peers and leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated track record as a team player and critical thinker.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.

Salary Range

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $78,900 and $139,500. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and certain positions are eligible for additional forms of incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in IT Service Management.
  • Minimum three years of IT experience.
  • Minimum two years of Project Management Experience.
  • Advanced skills and understanding of IT technologies with proven experience in performing complex release management tasks with a Fortune 500 company.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts, apply knowledge to the release management effort within the team.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused to deliver timely results and positively influence outcomes.
