Job Summary:
As a key member of the Shelby Medical Center team, the Maintenance Mechanic II plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems, as well as assisting with major repairs and equipment replacement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on major equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Assist plumbers, HVAC technicians, refrigeration technicians, and stationary engineers with major repairs and equipment replacement.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of experience working for a mechanical or general contractor, or in a commercial or hospital service environment.
- Graduate of a trade or vocational school in a related field is preferred.
