Position Overview

Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of sophisticated computer-controlled servo-hydraulic and electro-mechanical testing systems at various client sites. Utilize your expertise in aviation mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics troubleshooting to contribute effectively. Experience in equipment calibration is advantageous.

Note: US Citizenship is mandatory for roles in regulated environments.

This position requires significant travel, approximately 70%, including occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer relationships and business operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues across various system components.
  • Conduct independent calibrations for designated clients.
  • Coordinate installation and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to MTS quality system standards.
  • Assist in service sales initiatives and maintain accurate service records.
  • Manage company resources in accordance with established policies.
  • Stay informed about MTS technologies and product offerings.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PID Controllers (preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot at the board level (essential)
  • Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Capability to read and interpret Blueprints and Schematics
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile/liability insurance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated personal discipline and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in customer service roles

Education and Experience Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree (Vocational/Technical) or equivalent military training with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
