Data Engineer/ETL Specialist

Nashville Predators is a professional sports organization seeking an experienced Data Engineer/ETL Developer to support the overall strategy of the Hockey Operations Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating scalable data pipelines using ETL tools and practices, as well as experience maintaining databases and troubleshooting data pipeline issues.
Job Description
The Data Engineer/ETL Developer will focus on automating ETL processes, maintaining databases, monitoring data quality, and troubleshooting data pipeline issues. This role requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven track record of building and supporting ETL processes. The successful candidate will also have experience working with modern database technologies and SQL, as well as API integrations and version control.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, as well as significant experience in building and supporting ETL processes. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have expertise in database design and management, strong coding skills in Python, R, or similar languages, and experience with data quality assurance and control. A strong understanding of problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques is also essential.
