We are seeking a highly skilled Complex Claims Director to join our team at American International Group, Inc. (AIG). As a key member of our Financial Lines Claims team, you will be responsible for handling complex directors & officers claims, including securities class actions, high exposure employment practices liability and fiduciary liability matters.
Key Responsibilities- Make coverage determinations and investigate losses
- Evaluate and project potential exposures
- Make case presentations and set judgmental reserves
- Develop and implement resolution strategies
- Collaborate with underwriting and defense counsel
- Minimum 6+ years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation or other related experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the litigation and arbitration process
- A Juris Doctor is preferred
A competitive salary range of $103,000-$143,000 and a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
