Complex Claims Director

AIG is seeking a highly skilled Complex Claims Director to join our team in the Cyber, Media, and Technology division. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling complex first-party and third-party liability claims, including class actions and high-exposure matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance claims, litigation, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing complex claims. You will be responsible for making coverage determinations, investigating losses, evaluating and projecting potential exposures, setting judgmental reserves, developing and implementing resolution strategies, managing outside law firms, and working with underwriting on policy renewals and promoting client relationships.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent negotiation skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of the litigation and arbitration process. A bachelor's degree or equivalent (Juris Doctor) is highly preferred, and knowledge or experience in computer network and systems security or information security is a plus.
The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$140,000, and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
