Electrical Technician Position

We're seeking a dynamic college student with a go-getter attitude to contribute to our nationally recognized commercial and retail projects. As an Electrical Technician, you'll assist with developing electrical drawings to construct HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems. You'll work under the guidance of senior-level staff and have the opportunity to learn and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop electrical drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
  • Incorporate red lines under the guidance of senior-level staff.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Requirements:
  • AS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience/proficiency in PC use and application.
  • One or more years of AutoCAD education, training, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous design experience with an MEP engineering consultant.
  • Experience with the latest version of AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience applying applicable NEC, NFPA, building, and energy code requirements.
  • Knowledge in applying requirements of applicable mechanical, plumbing, building, and energy codes.
