The Role

We're seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer (mobile) to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Android, iOS, and Web applications.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and integrate automated test cases in our CI/CD pipelines.
  2. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Appium and PyCharm for Android and iOS applications.
  3. Identify and document defects, issues, and enhancements using a bug-tracking system.
  4. Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to improve code quality.
  5. Mentor other QA engineers with their automation contributions.
  6. Work closely with the development team to ensure test coverage and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Conduct regression testing to validate the stability and performance of applications.
  8. Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and patterns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of professional experience in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in testing Android and iOS applications using Appium.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
  • Experience with PyCharm or similar IDEs for test automation.
  • Knowledge of mobile application development and deployment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with other automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of cloud-based testing platforms and services.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile app design guidelines and usability standards.
