Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team at TrueCare. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and well-organized front office for patients and facilitating their flow through one of our health centers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the reception area is well-maintained, neat, and clean for each working day.
- Check patients in, verifying patient identification, address, phone number(s), billing information, and demographics.
- Inform patients of TrueCare services, policies, and procedures.
- Qualify self-pay patients for any available programs and accurately enter data into Intergy.
- Answer incoming calls, address inquiries, and take detailed messages when necessary.
- Pre-register, register, and schedule patient appointments as needed.
- Collect co-payments and fees, issue receipts, and post payments according to TrueCare protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience as a Medical Receptionist or Customer Service Representative.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of episodic programs and qualification requirements.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing procedures, including ICD-9 and CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures.
