We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Waterco of the Central States, Inc. as a Water Treatment Specialist. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their water treatment equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Service and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial water treatment equipment, including diagnostics, installation, and removal.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with customers, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Collect payments, assist with collection of past due receivables, and maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in water treatment service or a related field is highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lift 100+ pounds, and valid driver's license.
- Work Environment: This position will be based in the Richmond, IN office with occasional travel to area offices as needed.
- Physical Demands: Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy equipment, as well as drive for extended periods.
