Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify potential failure risks
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with production staff to resolve equipment issues and optimize production efficiency
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to optimize equipment performance and efficiency
  • Train production staff on equipment S.O.P. and daily equipment 5S procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies
Requirements:
  • At least two years of manufacturing experience and/or training
  • Electro welding certificate
  • Junior college or above, major in machinery, electric, or relevant majors
  • Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers
  • Strong planning, organization, and coordination ability
  • Persuasive ability
  • Familiarity with computer operation and manufacturing software
  • Master machinery knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Familiarity with the basic structure of glass production equipment and ability to use observational ability and strain capacity
Work Environment:
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Safety requirements for this position include safety glasses and steel-toed work boots.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
