Controller Job Description

We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding company looking for a seasoned financial professional to join our team in the role of Permanent Controller. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a solid background in finance to play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations and standards.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger and reconcile all financial accounts.
  • Oversee the financial auditing process, ensuring all financial statements and reports are accurate and complete.
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting, developing strategies to optimize company financial performance.
  • Participate in strategic planning, including the development of company financial strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to streamline financial processes and improve financial efficiency.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers to the senior management team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably as a Controller.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger, financial auditing, and cash flow management.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
  • Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
