In the capacity of a Senior Project Leader within the Communication Systems Engineering domain at Aerospace's Defense Systems Group, you will assume a vital role in advancing Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC) programs, including the Next Generation OPIR system and the US Nuclear Detonation Detection System. Your proficiency in ground network development will be critical to the triumph of these essential national security space endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver integration expertise for the ground system of the Next Generation OPIR Program
- Facilitate the development of space-ground interface and verification of requirements
- Lead technical evaluations and analyses concerning antenna performance
- Engage in program status evaluations and risk assessments
- Collaborate effectively with government and contractor partners
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
- Over 12 years of engineering experience, encompassing systems engineering and project management
- Familiarity with space-ground communication systems
- Possession of an active secret clearance with the capability to secure TS/SCI
- Willingness to travel on occasion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a STEM discipline
- In-depth knowledge of ground system architectures and advanced communication technologies
- Technical insight into the current threat landscape
- Experience in a matrixed engineering environment
- Customer-oriented approach with exceptional coordination abilities
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
Compensation:
Grade-based salary range: $123,000 - $225,400 annually
