Academic Vascular Neurology Opportunity

The University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a full-time non-interventional Vascular Neurologist to join our vibrant and growing Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build a telestroke program and explore medical directorship opportunities.

Key Highlights:

  • Join a department of 30+ physicians and neuroscientists
  • Collaborate with a vascular team of a vascular neurologist, two vascular and endovascular neurologists, and two vascular neurosurgeons
  • Work in a Neuroscience ICU staffed with dedicated Neurointensivist and a team of APP's and residents
  • Strong collaborations with Neurosurgery, Physiatry, Radiology, and Anesthesia
  • Robust Quality Improvement infrastructure
  • Participant in national StrokeNet program
  • Opportunities to assist in the department's growth, education of medical students and residents, and pursuit of other academic/research interests
  • Inpatient service and night call in equal rotation with the vascular neurology group
  • Outpatient Practice Schedule M-F 8 AM-5 PM when not covering the inpatient service, manage flexibility with time for rest
  • Medical Director opportunities available
  • All ranks available commensurate with experience

  • An accredited Sleep Program
  • Outpatient infusion center
