We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to become a vital part of our Finance Team. This position is primarily focused on cash handling, general ledger entries, and managing accounts receivable. Additional duties include addressing customer inquiries, overseeing office supply inventory, and performing other tasks as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily cash receipts from various departments to prepare for deposits.
  • Engage with overdue accounts receivable clients to facilitate payments and investigate non-payment issues.
  • Update accounts receivable records by coordinating daily sales order processing and bank transaction remittances.
  • Maintain a precise weekly aging report and manage cash customer refunds.
  • Provide account information and statements to A/R customers upon request.
  • Digitally archive accounting documents and ensure proper filing for audit purposes.
  • Assist in the monthly financial closing and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or educational background.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in PC applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Professional conduct with both internal and external stakeholders is essential.
