Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Animal Care Technician to become a vital part of our thriving clinic. The responsibilities of the Animal Care Technician include assisting the Veterinarian during surgical procedures, managing animal care, and observing animal recovery. You will collaborate closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all our animal patients. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding animal care, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Triage animals upon their arrival at the clinic
  • Interview pet owners to gather patient history
  • Measure vital signs and collect blood samples
  • Assist in surgical procedures and monitor animals post-surgery
  • Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an Animal Care Technician or in a related field
  • Understanding of animal care and handling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
