Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for large and complex buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems for large and complex buildings, including dual redundant power distribution systems with 100% back-up generator power.
  • Coordinate designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural departments.
  • Support Project and Construction Managers.
  • Prepare written reports, electrical engineering construction documents, construction specifications, project budget cost, and review of contractor prepared equipment drawings and details.
  • Conduct field visits, final inspections, and prepare written punch list.
  • Develop construction drawing using AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Perform and write feasibility and facility condition assessment reports.
  • Experience with energy code analysis, compliance review, and LEED certification.
  • Ability to acquire PE licenses in other states as needed.

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering.
  • EIT certification required, PE License with NCEES council record is desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
