Job Overview

At Alliance Transportation Group, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager/Traffic Engineer to join our team in North Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including traffic studies, traffic impact study reviews, feasibility analyses, and construction oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee traffic engineering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Conduct traffic studies, including existing condition and traffic surveys, traffic impact study reviews, and feasibility analyses.
  • Develop and implement traffic engineering solutions, including capacity and level of service analysis, corridor studies, and transportation modeling.
  • Prepare and review final plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, planners, and project managers, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to acquire within 3 months.
  • At least 12 years of progressive experience in traffic engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
  • Expertise in using engineering software, manuals, and methodologies required for traffic engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of experience performing projects similar to those listed above, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
  • Proven track record of success in business development.
  • Strong team-building and team management skills.
  • Experience using SYNCHRO, VISSIM, and similar modeling software.
  • Experience with Microstation or other CAD software.
  • TxDOT precertification in applicable categories.
