Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to execute maintenance tasks on existing manufacturing machinery, develop and maintain new equipment and tools, and collaborate with various departments to ensure the production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain seamless operation of manufacturing machinery and facilities by diagnosing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, mechanical systems, and buildings.
  2. Conduct maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  3. Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality, recommending and executing repairs as necessary.
  4. Verify the quality of repairs through spot checks of equipment post-repair.
  5. Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled.
  6. Implement enhancements to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  7. Work alongside engineering and production teams to resolve equipment-related challenges and optimize manufacturing processes.
  8. Conduct safety inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies during maintenance activities.
  9. Occasionally operate forklifts as required.
  10. Fabricate necessary repair components to ensure timely machine operation.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to guarantee high-quality and efficient production.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols.
  13. Promote a culture of teamwork and cooperation across locations and departments.
  14. Provide assistance in various areas with a positive attitude.

Additional Responsibilities
  1. Assist in production areas as needed.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Competencies
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in welding and cutting metal.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Experience with vertical milling machines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Logical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively perform the essential duties outlined above.
