About the Role

Top Docs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team in West De Moines, Iowa. As a Medical Hearing Specialist, you will be responsible for performing Compensation & Pension Exams (C&P) for our military Veterans at various sites throughout the USA.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a master's or doctorate degree from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE or ASHA Certification, and must be actively licensed and able to work independently and as part of a team. The compensation for this role is $ TOP HOURLY RATE, and we offer flexible scheduling with one 8-hour day per week.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive audio exams for assessing hearing loss and tinnitus, including Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech recognition.
  • Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
  • Capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; all documentation will be completed electronically.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE, or ASHA Certification.
  • Active licensure to practice as an Audiologist.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
