Job Title: Psychiatric Charge Nurse (RN)

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team at McLean Hospital in Lexington, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

We are looking for a registered nurse with a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a psychiatric setting. As a Psychiatric Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing direct care to patients with mental health conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and implement nursing care interventions to meet the needs of patients
  • Accurately assess patients' needs and plan nursing interventions
  • Lead a team of nurses and provide guidance and support
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Experience: No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes
