About the Position

At Virginia Hospital Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Outpatient Surgery department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the surgical process.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in nursing practice, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in an acute care setting and be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or hold compact state licensure in Nursing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. One year of experience in an acute care setting is also necessary. Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or holding compact state licensure in Nursing is essential. BLS certification is mandatory, and ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications may be required depending on the specific unit assignment.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
