This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Lead Outpatient Medical Coding Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will lead audit coordination efforts, supervise medical coding auditors, and ensure accurate coding of medical records utilizing JC, MHS, and MTF guidelines. As a certified coder with expertise in multiple clinical specialties, you will develop and execute training programs specific to clinical services provided by the MTF, incorporating standardized guidance to facilitate evolving requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in medical coding, auditing, and supervisory roles within the last 8 years. Expertise in ambulatory surgery coding/auditing is also required. Certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) is necessary. A strong understanding of official coding clinic guidelines, medical terminology, and data collection methods is essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in effective oral and written communication, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
