We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Specialist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and independently carrying out experiments, interpreting and presenting results, and preparing manuscripts and grant proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in general neuroscience, developmental neuroscience, and inflammation
- Manage animal colonies and multiple cellular and molecular resources
- Prepare manuscripts and assist with grant proposals
- Collaborate with principal investigator and other team members
- Master's degree or equivalent degree, or 5-10 years of experience in the relevant specialization
- PhD and postdoctoral experience with publications in neuroscience or neuroimmunology related fields (preferred)
- Knowledge and skills in immunology, inflammation, and neuroimmunology
- Expertise in cannabinoid and Trp receptors and biology (preferred)
