Overview
We are seeking an Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at St. David's Medical Center.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the department and state standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions, identify changes, and report promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and document care in the patient's record.
- Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate, Bachelors, or Masters Degree in Nursing.
