- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility, ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing clear and compassionate care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest medical trends and best practices.
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal education and training in nursing or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN, with a strong focus on customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
As a Certified Nurse Aide at WellSpan Health Services, you will work in a clean, well-ventilated, indoor environment, with possible exposure to patients with infectious diseases or bodily fluids. You will interact with a diverse range of customers, including patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Reporting StructureYou will report to the Clinical Manager of the assigned unit or their designee, with informal reporting and relationships established with all levels of nursing personnel, other hospital personnel, management, physicians, patients, and the general public.
