Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all plant environmental, health, safety, and process safety standards and procedures.
  • Report hazards, deviations, and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including emergency shutdowns.
  • Foster a team environment to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability within your scope of control.
  • Operate extruders, related dryers and calciners, all related conveyors, and operate SCR Unit, and operate forklift.
  • Perform solution make ups.
  • Obtain silo measurements and utility readings.
  • Communicate job status to incoming relief.
  • Follow daily work instructions.
  • Operate the process using field controls.
  • Sample, control, and maintain plant quality through SPC, plant instrumentation, and interacting with the GLIMS system.
  • Material movement. (Loading/unloading trucks, staging, etc...)
  • Complete plant data sheets, environmental emission reports, inventory sheets, forklift.
  • Perform required housekeeping and maintain orderliness.
  • Complete all regulatory testing and attend safety meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and directly related on-the-job experience.
  • Forklift license.
  • Employee must successfully complete all applicable Operator Assessment test and plant training requirements including Honeywell assessment.
