Transforming Pediatric Care

Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a critical member of our team, you will leverage advanced imaging technology to facilitate precise medical assessments and uphold patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, including ancillary equipment, while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Facilitate patient flow, managing STAT/urgent and high-priority patients, and providing age-appropriate care and preparation for procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues regarding procedures and care.
  • Maintain required competency in dose reduction techniques, radiation safety practices, and handling, shipping, and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in emergency response and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) until help arrives.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist ARRT(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
