Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate various imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain precise records of radioactive materials throughout their lifecycle.
- Serve as a clinical resource for unit personnel, ensuring adherence to current standards of practice.
What You Will Contribute:
Your expertise will be vital in:
- Performing technical procedures involving radionuclides for disease diagnosis and treatment.
- Operating gamma camera and computer imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Preparing patients for examinations and providing them with necessary information and support.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Licensure as a Radiology Technologist in your state of employment.
