About the RoleThis position requires a highly skilled carpenter to work on a variety of commercial, residential, and medical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  2. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  3. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and framing.
  4. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  5. Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
  6. Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
