Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Fabricator Craftsman to join our team at Allen Industries Inc. This role involves constructing structures and sign cabinets out of raw materials, requiring precision and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This position requires the ability to interpret blueprints and sketches, as well as operate metal fabricating machines such as shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch and forming presses. The successful candidate will also have experience with welding, riveting, or bolting components together.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct structures and sign cabinets from raw materials
  • Operate metal fabricating machines to cut, bend, turn, mill, and drill components to specified lengths and widths
  • Weld, rivet, or bolt components together
  • Inspect parts for defects
  • Review daily schedule requirements to determine priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to read a tape measure
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret sign/shop drawings and specifications
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous projects simultaneously
