Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI). As a Mammography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic studies, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate various imaging equipment, including mammography machines and x-ray devices.
- Develop and process radiographic images to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with at least 1 year of experience in mammography.
- Current Texas State registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Possession of ARRT certification in radiology and mammography.
- Current BLS certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association provider.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
