Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and producing accurate diagnostic examinations. With a strong focus on teamwork and patient-centered care, you will work closely with our experienced medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and positioning them for optimal image capture.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
  • Registered or registry-eligible in radiologic technology (RT) or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Three years of experience in a clinical imaging setting is highly preferred.
