Veterans Affairs Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterans Affairs Services Coordinator to join our team at Warrior Services Company LLC in Palm Springs, FL.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Veterans, service members, their dependents, and survivors.
The successful candidate will serve as a resource and counselor, assisting employees and applicants with various veteran/military issues, including Military Skills translation, military cultural competence, veteran transition issues, Guard and Reserve Friendly HR policies, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), employment-related policies and procedures, career counseling, job postings, and veteran talent attraction strategies.
The incumbent will build relationships with military and veteran organizations, drive business growth from veteran/military organizations in highly competitive markets, and represent the company at professional functions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain new veteran/military organization account relationships, create new strategies for increasing business, and act as a liaison between the facilities, referral sources, and the public.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enhance services and resources for Veterans
- Provide guidance and support on veteran/military issues
- Build relationships with military and veteran organizations
- Drive business growth from veteran/military organizations
- Represent the company at professional functions
- High School Diploma and 1-3 years of work experience with the development and enhancement of services and resources for Veterans
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with office staff, and the public
- Ability to coordinate with a wide range of Veteran and military service organizations, veteran support organizations, and state and local veteran agencies and groups
- Demonstrate knowledge and commitment to advocate for Veteran needs
- Demonstrate ability to work as a member of a team and to work effectively with other community organizations
- Knowledge of Veteran transition services, Veteran Service Organizations, and federal and state Veteran programs and benefits strongly preferred
- Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement
