At Spread Your Wings, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Therapist II to provide clinical services to our clients. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director to deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients, as needed.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine service eligibility and process referrals accordingly.
- Attend and participate in clinical team meetings to ensure effective treatment planning.
- Create and develop group curriculum for various sessions, submitting to the Clinical Director for approval.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, family members, and support teams, including social workers and regional center Service Coordinators.
- Complete required documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other forms in a timely manner.
- Participate in internal client records audits and quality assurance reviews.
- Minimum of two years of direct clinical service experience in a mental health/developmental disabilities setting.
- Prior experience documenting in electronic health records systems and efficiency in utilizing such systems.
- Master's degree and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PsyD, registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance coverage.
- Active CPR/First-Aid Certification (if not, will be required to attain within 90 days after hire).
- Eligible or have an active NPI Number.
- Eligibility for providing clinical supervision to BBS-registered associates.
- Familiarity and/or experience working in collaboration with regional centers and affiliated personnel.
- Bilingual candidates (English & an additional language/s).
This is a remote position with occasional in-person meetings (2-3 times/year) upon request. Hourly rate/Salary will depend on relatable experience and license/associate status. Licensed Candidates: $44-54/hour.
